How much does a Low Carbon website cost?
Pricing depends on the scope of the project. As a rough guide, please see ballpark figures below:

Site with more functionality | €2,000+ |
How long does it take to make a website?
On average, a project can take anywhere from a week to a few months, depending on the scope.
How does the process work?
Seven steps to your new site
- Step one — Contact me via the form on my contact page. Outline what you want to achieve, your budget, and how you want me to help.
- Step two — We set up an old fashioned phone call to discuss your brief, and establish timescales. If you haven’t prepared a brief I can send you a short questionnaire to help you make one.
- Step three — I send you a proposal – this will outline and clarify everything in your brief. It will also contain an example of a design based on your brief and some instructions to help me continue your project. I’ll also send Terms & Conditions/Contract. If you are happy with the proposal and contract I’ll send you the first invoice.
- Step four — You pay 50% (non-refundable) by bank transfer and send me any assets (logo, fonts, copy etc) you might have as requested in the proposal.
- Step five — I work on your project. This is done locally on my computer, your site is not online at this stage.
- Step six — Pre-launch live test. I give you a live link to view your site. You make a snag-list letting me know if any small alterations need to be made. Once you’re happy, I’ll invoice you for the remaining 50%. If you haven’t got web hosting and/or a domain I’ll talk you through choices and purchase and then I can set it up for you.
- Step 7 – We go live! I’ll set your new site up on your web host. Once your site has propagated and everything is secure and up to date I’ll send you a handover package with short tutorial videos and your login details. The site is all yours! It’s up to you if you want to handle your own WordPress maintenance or have me look after it with a monthly package.
